Tart Dough

Ingredients

  • 9 oz butter, softened
  • 9 oz powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 18 oz all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar together in a mixer.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time until combined. Scrape the bowl well in between adding eggs. It's OK if the mixture looks curdled at this point.
  3. Add the flour and mix until just combined.
  4. Split into two pieces and refrigerate until needed. Let the dough warm slightly before using if refrigerated.
